Your Data Deserves More Than a Black Box
Your project, led by the same experts, start to finish.
We deliver results with documented reasoning, version-controlled code and clear analytical steps – so they can be rerun, extended and used directly in your research and applications.
No black box
Documentation · Reasoning · Ownership
Every deliverable comes with the reasoning behind it – not just the output, but why the decisions were made and what confidence to place in the result.
You see what was tested, what was rejected and why. Version-controlled code, documented decisions and figures built to publication standard – so your own team can reproduce, extend or audit everything we deliver.
Continuity, not a hand-off
Direct access · Project history retained
The person who understands your project stays with it, start to end. No account manager, no hand-off, no starting from zero on every call.
A focused analysis can move from first conversation to finished report within a week. Longer collaborations run for years with our longest now in its third.
You always know who is working on your project, and that person already knows its history. From first conversation to final figure – the same people, the same context, every time.
On projects with a wet-lab component, that continuity extends to the bench. Several of our engagements run in close, ongoing contact with our clients’ lab teams – computational findings shaping experimental priorities as the work develops, not delivered cold at the end.
No off-the-shelf pipeline
Built for your data · Not sold as a product
Every analysis is built around your specific data and question. The code becomes yours at the end – not licensed back, not reused for the next client.
We don’t sell a named platform or a proprietary tool you are fitted into. If a method doesn’t exist yet for what you need, we build it. We don’t bend your data to fit what we already have on the shelf.
Most academic datasets don’t fit a standard pipeline cleanly – non-model organisms, unusual designs, small sample sizes. If the method doesn’t exist yet for what your data actually is, we build it rather than approximate it.
How a project runs
Scoping · Analysis · Delivery · Follow-through
A consistent process from first conversation to final figure – written proposals, agreed milestones and availability through peer review and revision.
Scoping. You tell us what you are working on and what data you have, or expect to have. We figure out whether it is feasible and send a written proposal – after discussing the project. If needed, NDAs are signed before anything else.
Design or analysis. For projects without data yet, we help design the sequencing strategy before a single sample is processed. For existing data, analysis proceeds against agreed milestones, with regular progress updates.
Delivery. You receive version-controlled code, documented reasoning, publication-quality figures and a written interpretation of the findings. Everything is yours and fully reproducible by your own team.
Follow-through. We remain available through manuscript revisions, peer review, regulatory submission or follow-on analysis – the same standard, past the point of delivery.
The people you are working with
Experience · Direct involvement
People who have carried research questions through to a conclusion many times over, with a published track record, leading every project themselves from first conversation to final figure.
We lead every project ourselves, start to finish – the same people, with a published track record, who scope, analyse and stand behind every conclusion personally. That is the standard applied to every engagement, every time.
On larger projects, we work as one team – depth and integration, applied together. Not every project needs both of us. The heavy ones do.
The standard is the same whether the destination is a journal, a pipeline or a board deck.
